This ambient video project examines the strange and symbolic poignancy of the pseudo-anonymous online environment. Words become as huge as architecture in this highly charged landscape. I highlighted a very small area of the screen around the navigating icons, and blew that area up into a full-sized video. We watch as a disembodied hand and suggestive arrow roam through an internet pornography site, serving as crude abstractions of human desire in a digital world. Do to the extremely restricted field of view, identities are even more concealed than in the normal internet environment. There are mysterious hints, but rarely answers.
