Operation Squeegee - Second Life 2010
In response to the massive oil spill in the Gulf Coast of the United States in 2010, I founded and directed the Operation Squeegee fundraiser within Second Life. Virtual merchants, entertainers, and artists all donated content that was for sale during the event, and it was featured on several of the top Second Life blogs. My partner and I also created the virtual stage and in-world exhibition and event space. We were able to generate over $4,000 towards the National Wildlife Fund Oilspill Cleanup.
