This effigy was created for the SynchroniCity festival held over the July 4th weekend. The burning of this sculpture was the culmination of the weekend, bringing all the participants together in a creative and cathartic ritual. My part was to create the neon that illuminated the form that several others had built. The effigy serves as the focal point of the SynchroniCity arts festival, and the whole community is present to be part of the burning.
